NEW LAW: As of January 1, 2019 those seeking a California RDH license must have taken and passed the WREB or CRDTS clinical examination within two years of application. Contact DHBC for more information or visit the website www.dhcc.ca.gov.
All participants must have graduated from a CODA accredited dental hygiene program OR have an active dental hygiene license from a U.S. State or Canadian Province OR be a student currently enrolled in the last semester of an CODA accredited dental hygiene program.
FEES: $5,000 per person. Purple Pen Seminars Inc., supports the fee that was established decades ago. All fees for this course are not refundable due to the planning, coordination of facilities, and supplies associated. This fee covers all disposables and anesthetic supplies, and basic instruments required for this course. CE credit includes 51 hours for anesthesia course, plus 2 hours CA DPA, and 2 hours CA Infection Control. Fee does not include, textbooks or additional instruments the participant chooses to bring.

Livescan fingerprinting is offered through vendors in the Taft and Bakersfield area or other Southern California locations.
IMPORTANT: Submission of enrollment form guarantees a position in the course. Once your enrollment form has been processed, you will receive detailed information on course materials, supplies, and patient requirements. Should low enrollment occur, registered participants will be notified by telephone. The course start date may be delayed. Refunds cannot be accommodated.
NOTE: You must have a minimum of TWO (2) outside and separate patients for the second on-campus weekend. Patients are not supplied by this program/course due to ethical reasons. Classmates tend to collaborate on patient management.
TRAVEL: If traveling to the southern California area, you are hereby informed that the clinical portion of the course occurs on weekends. Plan your travel accordingly.
