This Privacy Policy describes how Purple Pen Seminars (otherwise referred to as “PPS” the “Website”, “Site”, “We” or “Our”) collects, uses, and discloses your (otherwise referred to as “customer”, "consumer", “you” or “your”) personal information any time you visit or complete a purchase from the Site. We respect the privacy and personal information of all visitors and customers and We are committed to keeping all information safe and secure. By visiting or providing any personal information to the PPS Website you accept and consent to the practices described in this privacy policy.


Personal information:
Purple Pen Seminars uses personal information* to provide services to you. When you visit the Website, certain information is collected about your device, how you interact with the Site, and information necessary to process your registration or communication details when you contact us. These services include offering certification courses, keeping you updated on PPS services, processing payments, fulfillment/shipping of certain services, and more. 
*Definition: personal information means information that uniquely identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably linked directly or indirectly with a particular consumer, device, or household. 
Purple Pen Seminars does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 18.

We DO NOT sell personal information to third parties. Information is shared with Our processor Squarespace, Stripe, SquareUp and their affiliates, and in some instances Google, for purposes of email communication.

Under the legislation, California residents can choose to opt out of the “sale” of their personal information to third parties. Information collected from your device: 
When visiting the Purple Pen Seminars Website via computer, tablet or mobile device, information from your device is collected based on how you interact with the Website. Such information may include but is not limited to, IP address, the type and version of web browser used, time zone, terms used to search the Website, products searched and viewed, and cookie information. Information from each device is collected in the form of cookies, log files, web beacons, pixels and or tags.
PPS’s purpose for collection of such information is to share with Squarespace, Stripe, SquareUp and their affiliates, the companies that house and allow the PPS Website to analyze each visit to the Website ensuring it operates to optimal capacity for all functions. Information collected from registration: 
When placing and completing your online registration from Purple Pen Seminars, the following provides examples of personal information that may be collected: email address, name, billing/shipping address, phone number, and payment information (including credit card numbers, use of PayPal, Apple Pay, etc). Such information is collected in order for PPS to process payment information, fulfill orders placed, send invoices, email registration confirmation and receipts, as well as screen all transactions for fraud risk.

All information described above is collected based on what you, the consumer, enters when registering and purchasing from the PPS Website.


Security of information: 
When registering with Purple Pen Seminars, the personal information you provide is shared with Squarespace, Stripe, and Square to process your transactions. Please note that PPS cannot guarantee 100% security of personal information. You, as the consumer, play an important role in securing personal information as well. Please be sure to keep your personal and financial information secret and do not disclose to others. Information regarding customer support: 
In order to provide optimal customer service information collected may include name, email address, billing/shipping address, payment information used during the transaction, phone number, etc. All information described above is collected based on what you, the consumer, entered when registering and purchasing from the PPS Website. If sharing information, it is shared with our processors Squarespace, Stripe, SquareUP and their affiliates, and only with service providers used to fulfill our contracts in processing orders.

What are COOKIES? 
COOKIES are small amounts of information that are downloaded by your computer or mobile device when visiting and interacting with PPS Website.
